We are very fortunate to have the services of some very spiritual and capable retired clergy who assist in Par on the Sundays Fr Paul is atCharlestown. Members of our congregation continue to lead assembly at Biscovey Infant School using "Open the Book" - a chronological storytelling bible. We have been well received by Mr Pears, the staff and children - who engage enthusiastically with our presentations! During December we are holding our annual Christingle Service at St Mary's on Monday 9thDecember at 6pm. The Christmas services will begin with the Crib Service, telling the story of Christ's birth, at 5pm on Christmas Eve at St Mary's Church. We invite all young families and youth groups to join with us at these services. During the Crib service the prize will be given to the winner of the "Christmas Sheep Trail" around Par. We thank the local schools for promoting this competition and the local businesses for allowing  the sheep to "stray" amongst their shelves! Midnight Mass will begin at 11.15pm at St Mary's Biscovey.
